A formal demand to the directors of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International
Restore the original editions.
An author who has departed cannot approve a revision. Śrīla Prabhupāda departed in 1977. Every change to his books since then is unauthorised.
His Bhagavad-gītā As It Is and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam sold in the millions: the translations and commentaries he saw, corrected and approved.
After his departure they were revised — thousands of changes, never announced, under the same covers and his own name.
Make the originals the standard again.
A formal demand addressed to the directors of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International accuses no one and removes no one. It asks only that the originals be the standard again — and that any revised edition say who edited it and what changed. On the site: the demand in full, a public register of who was asked and what each answered, and the signatures.
